My God this was an extremely good remake of Bogart's classic version. Slight changes to plot and dialogue were IMHO an improvement. James Belushi and all the actors reaqlly nailed their roles really well.

The Americans didn’t land in North Africa until November 1942 I’m afraid. They absolutely were not at Tobruk (which was captured by Rommel on June 21 1942).

Definitely one of the better movies I’ve seen. My heart goes out to all the young men who sacrificed themselves to give us the free world we live in today. Now it’s up to us not to squander this opportunity.
